Gyokuro "062 Gokou" has a roasted aroma reminiscent of burdock and a savory umami like dashi broth.
For the first infusion, brew at a low temperature to enjoy the characteristic flavor of gyokuro. From the second infusion onward, you can savor a clean, gentle sweetness that pairs perfectly with the simple sweetness of red bean paste. Celebrate the start of the New Year with a monaka shaped like the traditional good luck charm from Niigata Prefecture, the "Sankaku Daruma."
