"Kazuho" refers to a grade determined by the number of tine splits at the end of each bristle. This particular chasen has around 70 splits, slightly fewer than the 80-split variety. The handle is somewhat thinner, making it easier to grip. This design allows for quick, snappy whisking motions, making it user-friendly for creating foam efficiently.
