For the Winter Solstice: Float Yuzu in "029 Meiryoku"

What You'll Need

Tea leaves: "029 Meiryoku" … 4g
Hot water (first infusion): 80°C, 100ml
Hot water (second infusion): 80°C, 120ml
Yuzu peel: as much as you like

How to Brew

1 / Brew the First Infusion

Pre-warm your teacup with hot water (not included in the measurements). Place the yuzu peel on top of the tea leaves in the teapot, pour in 100ml of 80°C hot water, let it steep for 1 minute, then pour into your cup.

2 / Brew the Second Infusion

Pour 120ml of 80°C hot water into the teapot, let it steep for 20 seconds, then pour into your cup to finish!

Even a small amount of finely sliced yuzu peel adds a noticeable fragrance.
