The subtle chestnut-like sweetness of "001 Haru Moegi" brings comfort to the heart and pairs exceptionally well with sweet treats. By brewing at a lower temperature to extract the umami, it enhances the gentle sweetness of Japanese confections.
For this pairing, we've chosen the summer-limited "Kanten Zenzai" from Toshomatsu-an, a long-established anko (sweet bean paste) shop in Kyoto. Enjoy this seasonal delight alongside the green tea.
