The new tea season has arrived once again. This time, we're introducing "Kuritawase", produced in Tanegashima, Kagoshima Prefecture.
With its subtle sweetness, refreshing aroma reminiscent of fresh greenery and early summer flowers, a fleeting hint of astringency, and a crisp aftertaste, it's truly a cup full of freshness characteristic of new tea.
When enjoyed alongside the "Seafood Chirashi" introduced by Yanaka Matsuzushi, it refreshes the palate with its crisp aroma after each bite of marinated sashimi and vinegared rice, making the next mouthful even more delicious.

TEA NOTES
As its name suggests, "Kuritawase" is an extremely early-maturing variety suitable for cultivation in warm regions. While it's a light and refreshing tea, it offers a complex yet elegant flavor profile with sweet aromas, umami, and a fleeting hint of green notes[1].
